Sucker Punch Costumes - Sexy And Kick Ass Costumes
So the action adventure movie Sucker Punch made it debut in March 2011. It is quite an unusual film in this genre as it is an all girl film.

Action adventure type flicks tend to have a male hero and more recently male and female heroes together, but none have been all female (ok, maybe Charlies Angels was an exception, can you think of any others ?). Depending on the success of the movie, there is bound to be a few Sucker Punch costumes available. So what’s Sucker Punch All About ?
The world created in Sucker Punch looks brilliant. It’s director, Zack Snyder describes it as “Alice in Wonderland with machines guns”. It has some dark themes to it as essentially it is a fantasy world to help a young girl deal with a rather unpleasant reality.
Sucker Punch is set in the 1950′s and is about a young girl that is sent to an asylum because people think she killed her stepfather. There are threats and plans to lobotomize her at one point. This was when people still thought knocking a chip of your brain out could actually help you solve some problems.
The main character is called Baby Doll and she escapes into a fantasy world (much like Alice) to deal with the unpleasant situation she finds herself in. Well, this is what we are told but is it fantasy or is it really happening. Or do they mesh together in some way during the movie. There must be some twist you would think as this is a popular device in movies these days.
Baby doll is played by Emily Browning. And she manages to enlist the help of Sweet Pea (played by Abbie Cornish), Rocket (played by Jena Malone), Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens) and Amber (played by Jamie Chung). They are friends and fellow inmates of the Asylum. They become a team that battles all sorts of fantasy creatures from dragons to world war one soldiers.
These characters seem to wear a combination of ninja outfit crossed with maybe a sexy school girl look replete with short skirts and high, thigh length stockings. Of course the main color of these outfits is black, in keeping with the fairly dark imagery and theme of the film.
The costumes of these 5 characters are sure to be a popular costume idea for themed parties or Halloween for girls. They look sexy but they are also kick ass. Stay tuned for more details of when the costumes are released and what they will look like (or how similar to the originals they are).
