Terminatrix Costume

Definitely no damsel in distress, you won’t need a man to save you.  You can be the hero or villain of the night with the Terminatrix costume.  Your secret weapon?  You’ll look so darn hot, guys will melt at the very sight of you.  Start with black faux leather biker jacket of sorts where instead of running up the middle, you can find the zipper on the side.  All black except for the Terminator logo on the flap of the collar and the word “Terminator” written across the sleeve of the left arm.  These are white.  Skin tight, this is definitely one sexy jacket that hugs your body in all the right places.  It accentuates your curves making you even more voluptuous than you really are.  Who wouldn’t want that?  The bottom of the jacket clasps together in a matching black belt with a wide silver buckle.  Connected to the belt is the leg attach holster that adds to the whole look.  Pair it with the micro mini skirt made of the same faux black leather but has a few stud accents on the tiny pockets in front.  You will also find the word “Terminator” in white printed on the upper right side of skirt.  Put on the coordinating fingerless biker gloves and you are just about ready to go.

Find a pair of shoes to match- knee high black boots would be perfect, or maybe even some rocking black pumps.  But if you really want to go all out, you might as well throw in a plastic gun.  Load up and have a blast!

Although this isn’t exactly one of the Sucker Punch costumes, it does stay true to the strong and powerful woman theme.  But if the Terminatrix isn’t the look for you, then go ahead and check out the other ones available.  You are sure to find just the perfect one right for any event.

Cat Girl Costume

The whole damsel in distress is so ten years ago.  In the modern world today, nothing is sexier than a strong woman who doesn’t need any saving.  With the Cat Girl costume, you are sure to hottest thing around.  Simple yet seductive, guys won’t be able to take their eyes off you.  Instead of showing off some skin, with the fitted faux leather one piece jumpsuit on, you will be showing off your luscious curves instead.  Once you zip it up, it hugs your body in such a way that accentuates you shape in all the right places.  It is pure black but made from a shiny material that actually shimmers when the light hits it.  It has a low cut plunging V neck, after all, everything else will be covered anyway.  Aside from the zipper running up the middle, there is a little more design to it than that.  There is a black strap of sorts that runs right under the bust area and makes a little X right in the middle.  There is also black stitching on the sides running up to the top that not only adds to the look but also helps with the shape.  This is the same stitching that you will find along the neckline and down the sides of the pants too.  Tie it all together with the matching black belt that clasps together with a silver buckle.

Slip on the black gloves that come just a little below your elbow and put on the cat eye eye mask to add a little mystery.  Find some shoes to go- black knee high boots would be great, but black pumps would also do fine.  Then the look is complete.

Sucker Punch Mask - Samurai

If you have the Sucker Punch costumes of the female heroes, you might also want a few of the outfits that the villains or monsters wear. Unfortunately there aren’t any villains costumes from the movie, merely the sucker punch masks.

There are three masks available, the Samurai, the Zombie and the Orc.

The samurai mask is from the scene where Babydoll has to defeat the giant Samurai monster. You could always get a samurai costume and add the mask to it to complete the costume. Another good costume to complement the Samurai mask could be the Genghis Khan outfit. This looks a bit like a Samurai and even has a realistic looking helmet. So you could switch over to that if you get a bit tired of wearing the mask all night.

Sucker Punch Mask - Zombie

The other mask that you can get from the sucker punch movie is the German zombie. Like the Samurai mask it is an overhead mask that fully covers the head. It is made of latex like the other items too. To make this costume work, you could get a German style army uniform or simply a gray coat, gray pants and black boots.

The final mask is also an over the head item that completely covers the face and head. It is of the Orcs that protect the baby dragon. I’m not sure how you would complement this look at the Orcs and pretty original looking but maybe a brown hessian fabric tunic with belt in the middle might work.

For me, the Orc is the most elaborate of all the sucker punch masks as it has intricate features on the face, a helmet and long brown hair at the back. You are sure to make an impression at a Halloween party or some other dress up event. The mask is so bizarre looking that people will be impressed even if they haven’t seen the movie or remember the characters.

The detail on all the masks is fabulous and they are officially licensed from the Sucker Punch film. Have a Sucker Punch theme night with all the girls costumes and then the three sets of villains. Shame they didn’t have costumes for Dr. Gorski, the wise man, Blue Jones and the High Roller to complete the list of characters.

Babydoll’s brief background

It is quite plain to see that Babydoll is the one true leader of the group of girls in this film trying to find freedom from the mental asylum they are stuck in.  She is, after all, the one behind all of the fantasies and fantasies within fantasies as it was her imagination that created them to begin with.  She is simply mesmerizing when she moves to music using her dancing skills to transport to an alternate reality. Baby doll is played by Emily Browning in the movie.

Sweet young Babydoll is not so sweet upon entering the other world.  Equipped with more than just amazing dancing skills, she fights her way through any trial she meets.  She shoots, kicks, and throws a pretty good punch.  She dashes, slides, and runs with speed and grace.  With all these assets and more, Babydoll is a true leader as she guides and inspires her team as well.

This Sucker Punch costume has the school girl chic look with a sexy twist.  The top seems to be quite conservative due to its long sleeves and thick collar, but its plunging neckline and midrib cut says other wise.  It has a matching dark blue pleated mini with a slit that comes up to the thigh.  Both pieces are lined with a lighter hue detail.  Since no woman wants to reveal all her secrets at once, the whole look is completed with black thigh highs to hide a little skin and leave a little mystery.  The final piece is a head piece, a black head band to accentuate your crowning glory.

Blondie is played by Vanessa Hudgens in the action adventure film.

Sucker Punch Sweet Pea Costume

Sucker Punch Movie – a brief background

Sucker punch is an epic fantasy film.  This also being an action/thriller movie makes it all the better.  Basically the story is about the journey of a young girl.  In reality she is confined in a mental asylum however her imagination is anything but that.  With the help of her friends, they quest in a fantasy world to escape from their reality.  So the movie will take you deep into the minds of these women and you will actually see how everything links to what is real.

So Who Is Rocket ?

She is one of the main characters in the movie.  Rocket is actually the younger sister of Sweet Pea but despite following in her older sister’s footsteps, she still manages to shine on her own.  It is only fair to say that determination is her driving force.  Once she sets her eyes on a goal, she will not stop until the job is done.  This asset of hers has made her an important part of the team, even though she has gotten into trouble a time or two.  But hey, what are older sisters for after all? Rocket is played by Jena Malone in Sucker Punch.

Sucker Punch the movie – what it’s all about

Sucker Punch came out in 2011. This film caught the eyes of many as it is an action slash fantasy thriller that is sure to keep your eyes glued to the screen. Long story short, it is about the fantasies that a young woman has while she is institutionalized in a mental asylum. As the movie progresses, different characters come into play that help her through her journey. The movie is directed by Zack Snyder of Watchmen and 300 fame.

Amber – who is she ?

One of the leading characters is Amber. Just another person committed to a mental institution, but she takes on a different role in the fantasy realm. Although she is a dancer who does not believe in herself, once she sits in the cockpit, she has total confidence as she is the team’s pilot. Sexy and sleek, you do not want to mess with her for she has moves that can do her world war two era outfit justice. Jamie Chung takes the role of Amber in the movie.
